Howdy, all! It's been a week since I have had a chance to get in here, but the Christmas "work" is DONE!! Just need to finish grocery shopping for the holiday and clean around the house.
I did this card over the weekend to try out this new embosing folder exclusive to ohmycrafts.com. LOVE it! All I used was SU Real Red and Gold cardstock. The ornaments are decorated with Crystal Stickles....talk about a simple card?!? The "Holiday Greetings" was stamped on Paper Trey Shimmer cardstock and the saying is from one of their sets, the name escapes me at the moment!
If I don't get back in here before Christmas, I would like to wish everyone a very blessed and Merry Christmas! Til next time...,

Happy Monday, all! Glad to back here tonight, it's been a few days! I worked up this card as a project for my class gals to do at our Christmas Luncheon this Saturday. I used SU Gold and Silver metallic cardstocks. The wreath is embossed with the CB folder "Christmas Wreath" that is exclusive to Ohmycrafts.com. The ribbon came from Joann's and I used Red, Crystal, Silver and Holly Stickles for the decorations. I really like the way this one turned out. Well, am off to take some cookies out of the pans! Have a great week! Til later....

Hey all!! Am finally back with a new card. Haven't been able to get into the craft room much, but I made some time this evening to work on this. A good friend sent me a pic of a card she saw on SCS and I really liked the layout....just changed a bit to suit MY style.
I used the new Tartan CN embossing folder for the background white piece. The green is SU Handsome Hunter and the wine color is SU Purely Pomegranate. I used the Paper Trey stamp set "Peaceful Poinsettias" for the flowers and the "Merry Christmas". LOVE that set! The ribbon came from Michael's. Finished it off with Gold Stickles and the Sakura glitter pen. Hopefully, I will be back again in a day or so....til then!

Just a "Cutsey" card.....

Happy Friday, all! After running errands all morning, I was able to get about 18 dozen cookies baked and in the freezer for Christmas. But I had a little time after dinner this evening to sit and play with a new Martha Stewart stamp set called "Gingerbread". This is just the cutest set I have seen in a while. I am not a big fan of her stamp sets, but this one really grabbed me. I used SU Real red, white and Glorius Green colors. The gingerbread men are stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Rust and the saying is Galaxy Gold. The "Wishing you a sweet Holiday" is hard to see in the picture but it DOES stand out on the card. The background piece is Versamarked with a peppermint candy stamp from the set. Not a real elaborate card, but I was just into something simple this evening. Til Monday.....

Howdy, all! Glad to be back after a few days! I ended up in the dentist's office yesterday to have a back molar pulled.....OUCH!! Actually, it hasn't hurt as much as I thought it would. He is a wonderful dentist! Today has been much better, able to eat some "real" food again.
This card was made with SU Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi colors. The stamp set is SU "Delightful Decorations. Also used some Gold Stickles on the one ornament and the middle of the star on the "Merry Christmas". I love this color combo for Christmas.....hopefully will finish my Christmas cards over the next few days! Til next time....

Happy Friday, all! Heading into a beautiful weekend with loads to do! I am really getting into the Christmas mood!
The card today is done on a base card of SU Basic Gray....not a color I would usually use, but I like the way it turned out. A friend owns the Poinsettia die cut by BossKutz and I borrowed it a few days ago. I used SU Real Red, Garden Green and Gold Metallic. The background paper is a light gray with darker gray flecks in it. I stamped the music image from the Gina K set "Vintage Borders" in Basic Gray ink. The ribbon came from Joann's and the "tis the Season" is from the Martha Stewart "Christmas Tree" set. Final touch was the Sakura Glitter Pen on the leaves and petals. Tomorrow I start baking cookies for the orders I take every year.....UGH!! But I love baking! Til Monday....
