Hey all.....I hope ya'all had a great day! It started out quite dreary again today, but turned into a pretty sunny one. I seem to be at the mercy of the weather lately, since a lot of the work I would like to do is outside. But I guess since I can not control the elements, I will do what I can when I can.
This card was done on a "whim". I have had a roll of this ribbon for ages and finally pulled it out. The base card is DCWV Silver metallic (am into metallic cardstock lately!) and I cut the 2 corners with one of Corner Adorners. I used my "Out on a Limb" stamp set from Paper Trey to stamp the stem and then the fern-looking leaves. Found a lavender Prima silk flower to match the Lovely Lilac cardstock that i used on the front of the base card. A Perfect Plum flower was punched from the 3 flower punch by SU to make the center of the silk flower stand out more. Finished the flower with a silver brad. The round stamp is from the set "riveting". It's an OK card to me, just really wanted to see what I could do with this pretty ribbon! Til tomorrow.....
