Happy Friday, everyone! What a beautiful day it's been, just still too hot for the month of June. I made it through my first day yesterday without hubby around, but today has been so much better! Been busy in the craft room and running some errands. Can't wait for tomorrow, it's my day to spend most of the day "playing in my craft room"....
This card I did this morning fairly early, since I am usually an early riser. Sometimes creativity hits me later in the day, but for some reason I was ready to go at 9 this morning. The darker turquoise is SU Taken with teal and the lighter shade is Cool Caribbean. Man, am I glad I ordered lots of that color before SU retired it. I picked CA Paper Goods Constellation white for the 2 background pieces. The image is actually a snowflake from CTMH set "Laced with New-fallen Snow", but I really don't think it looks much like a snowflake. I embossed the image AND the saying with Ranger turquoise embossing powder, so it would stand out more.The brad is from Making Memories and the ribbon came from, dang, who knows where??!!. I embossed the base card with Divine Swirls, but ended up not being able to see much of it. Oh, well.....such is life, sometimes! Til tomorrow.....
