Hi all.....been a "weird" day today! Started out a 5 AM this morning to take my hubby to the airport to catch a flight to Colorado. WAY too early for me.....but at least it's only a 5 minute drive! Got home, laid down on the couch and dozed for about an hour til the cats and dog wanted to eat. Around 8, hubby calls and says the flight has been cancelled, after he sat there waiting for 3 hours to see if they were going to fix the plane. So, off I go to pick him up. Ended up taking him back to catch the 2:30 flight. When I got home, I decided it was time for some serious card-making! I just bought this SU stamp set and have wanted to try it. I LOVE IT!!!! Have seen many pix of cards using this stamp and just had to see what I could do with it. The set is called "A Wish for Peace". The saying also comes from that set. I used SU Handsome Hunter and Real Red for these cards. I stamped the image in Versafine Sepia, colored with Prisma pencils and the snow is done with Liquid Pearls. It's hard to see, but I sprinkled some Dazzling Diamonds on the Liquid Pearls before it dried. Really nice, huh?! I am so glad to be back crafting after all the baking I had to do in the past few weeks. Til next time....
