Happy Thursday, all! After 3 days of being absent from here, it's nice to be back! A very busy week with little time to work on any cards.....
This one is for my daughter's birthday Sunday. I used SU Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Whisper White cardstocks. It's showing ivory in the pix, but it's really white! I used my Guidelines stamp set from Paper Trey to make the background paper and the EK Success Fleur de lis border punch for the decorative strip and corners on the inside. The gridlines were stamped with Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink and I used gold Hot Fix pearls on some of the images.I found this style of card on a blog a few evenings ago and really wanted to try it......LOVE it! The green background was scored using my ScorPal to create the "blocks" for a bit more interest. When you open the card, on the left side of the inside is a pocket for inserting a check or cash. It's too hard to buy gifts for the older kids anymore and they love to do their own shopping! Til tomorrow.....(I hope!)

What a lovely card! Love the way you used that border punch. I haven't done this yet with that particular punch. TFS!
