Happy Wednesday, all!! Haven't made it in here for a while, trying to play "catch up" on lots of small projects. But I am back into cards. A big THANK YOU to Selma at Selma's Stamping Corner. Her technique with vellum flowers is one I haven't seen before and it really is very easy and fun to do!

I used a base card of Paper Trey Pink. The background nesties is cut with the Lacey Square on Blue Ridge's Burgundy Velvet paper. The green square is also Blue Ridge velvet in "Asparagus green". I embossed it with the CB folder Swiss Dots. The oval punches are from SU and the Happy Anniversay stamp is from Blue Ridge. I embosssed the flowers onto the vellum with Versamark and white EP. The flowers then get cut out. I used my Aqua painter and Bravo Burgundy ink pad to color in the back of the flowers. Doing that made the flowers curl outward. Then I took another Aqua painter with plain water in it and moistened the fronts of the petals that I wanted to curl backward. Did the same thing with the leaves, except I used Always Artichoke SU ink pad for the green. Of course, being a lover of "glitz" I gold "Stickled the flower centers. The whole card only took about an hour to do once I came up with the color combo. Well, am off to watch "Minute to Win it" in a bit. Til tomorrow....
