Hello to all! I don't usually blog on Saturday's but I have become SO intrigued with these shadow box cards, I worked on this one after card class here this morning.
I used my Damask CB embossing folder to emboss a piece of SU Marina Mist cardstock. I then cut it down to the size I wanted the box to be. Then I took one of the Labels 17 nesties and cut out the opening in the piece. The back of the "box" is cut from Brenda Walton's paper "Embossed Garden Party". I then cut 2 sunflower nesties in Marina Mist and Pink Pirouette cardstocks. I used my SU 3 flower punch to cut a smaller flower to nest the brad in. The saying is from a Hero Arts set and the other 3 flowers were punched with my floral Picture punch. The brads are from my Making Memories set and are "pearlized". This a much smaller shadow box than the 2 I posted previously, but I really like the variety in using different embossing folders with different nesties! Til whenever....
