Hey all.....been a long day, but I still wanted to come in to show you this card. I haven't done any Spirelli in quite a while, so out came some gold metallic embroidery thread. I used SU colors Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Perfect Plum. The white background is embossed with the CB embossing folder "Divine Swirls". The border is Martha Stewart's "Modern Garland" border punch. I can't tell ya where the butterfly stamp came from, it's a small unmounted one that I glued to a small stamp mount years ago. But it just fit in the opening on this card. It's hard to see in the pic, but I used Paper Glaze over the colors on the butterfly to make him really shiney! Well, am off to relax for the rest of the evening! Til tomorrow....

What a lovely spring card! The border and embossing look great, and the spirelli is just wonderful. That little butterfly stamp is just perfect in the middle, too.

Your card is gorgeous! I love how you used the spirelli technique. I have always wanted to try it but never have.

Have a great day!

Oh fun!! I used to do this type of "weaving" with my mom when I was little! Great idea incorporating it into such a lovely card!
