Happy Friday, all!! In a few hours I am heading to a "Sock Hop" to have a rockin' time with my friends from church. Good food, music and fellowship!

I just finished this card using a base card of Paper Trey Mauve Mist. The yellow background is velvet paper from Blue Ridge and the image is stamped on white velvet. I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it with Platinum embossing powder. The green nestie is SU Old Olive. I colored the image with Prisma pencils and the bow and saying are colored with the Glitter Pen. The stamp is a retired stamp from Blue Ridge, found a new one on ebay last week. The border is a Martha Stewart punch and the corners are done with the Fiskars Scroll punch. This really looks much better in "person"! HA! Til Monday....

Oh Debbie I just love the stamps from Blue Ridge. I don't own any but, I have a catalog and drool over them quite often. Sounds like you are off to have some fun. Your card turned out beautifully.

A Sock Hop? Sounds fun. Lovely card. I love your use of border punch especially. The color palette of your card is sweet as well. Wonderful work.
