Happy Friday, everyone! Heading into a beautiful week! I spent my morning getting out the spring and summer clothes and putting away sweaters, etc.....HATE that job!

A friend brought a technique new to me to our Wednesday craft day. I used SU cardtocks and colors Calypso Coral, Sage Shadow and Sahara Sand. You can't tell it, but the green background piece is started with a piece of Sahara sand. I "painted" my Sizzix "Final Press" embossing folder with Sage Shadow ink using my rubber brayer, the acrylic one didn't work as well. The ink is put on the debossed side of the folder, letting the Sahara Sand color come through on the embossing. I then took Perfect Pearls in White over all the embossed design. The corners are punched with a new Fiskars corner punch. The label is done with one of the Tag nesties and the inside ovals are from SU punches. The Thank You is from a great "Flourishes" set I bought years ago. It's small verses and fits in the oval punch. Well, am heading out to a Womens' Conference at church tonight. Will be there tomorrow also...should be fun! Til later....
