It's Wednesday.....middle of the week!! I have been sewing most of the morning, did a sweatsuit for my grand daughter for Valentine's Day. That didn't take too long to do, so while the machine was running, I started a card for today. Am finding myself in a floral mood today! The stamp set I used is SU Garden Silhouettes, a Hostess set from the previous catalog. The base card is River Rock, then I used Lovely Lilac and Almost amethys, along with the Paper Trey white cardstock. The inks are Almost Amethyst and River Rock. The ribbon is matching River Rock grosgrain and the brads are by Making Memories. I can't believe how well they match the River Rock color! Since I couldn't "ink" the stamp, I used the SU Lovely Lilac marker and a blender pen for the River Rock, since SU doesn't make markers in all the In Color colors! Darn.....the floral panel is mounted on SU foamies. I love the 3D look!

The sun actually came out for a while today! But we are due for some severe thunderstorms this afternoon! Said something about hail, etc. This must be what those down in Arkansas were getting last night. A friend was in chat with us and she lives in Arkansas. Said they were under a tornado watch, had like 599 lightning strikes in a short period of time. We told her to stay inside and turn off her computer! I figure I will catch up with her later to see how much damage they had. Til tomorrow, have a blessed day!!
