Friday......beginning of the weekend!! Don't ya just love it??!!! I usually do, but have had a slight sinus headache due to this stupid weather here in West Virginia! Still had work to do around the house today and managed to find a bit of time to make a simple card.

I haven't used this stamp set yet, but I LOVE it and have seen some wonderful cards done with it. I started with purple Bazzill cardstock for the base card. Found a piece of silver metallic DCWV cardstock and mounted it to the front of the card. Then I stamped the flower "parts" with Versamark and embossed with silver embossing powder. Then the flowers were cut out. I put the parts together with a bit of glue and inserted an SU pink rhinestone brad in the center. The flower is mounted on a square of SU Cameo Coral cardstock, which was then mounted on the front of the card. The rest is pretty self-explanatory.....simple, huh??!!!!

We are looking to get a few inches of snow tomorrow.....YUCK!!! Being a snow lover, I can't believe I said that! But I am tired of the cold weather and the dirt that getting snow brings! Oh well, hopefully Spring is just around the corner!! Til next time...
