Happy Wednesday, everyone! What a beautiful day we have had today! And finally the cold nights are gone....
I wanted to try a technique I saw on Dawn McVey's blog last night. I stamped the floral image with Versamark on Spring Moss Paper Trey cardstock to make it look like patterned paper. The white borders were done with the MS Arch Lattice border punch and the ribbon is the matching Spring Moss PT dotted ribbon. I cut a white scalloped circle nestie and mounted the large flower on it. The flower was punched with the 5 Petal SU punch and I punched out 2 layered circles with the SU circle punched. The "smile" saying is from the Flexible Phrases SU stamp set. I love that set because the sayings are small and work so well with the circles. To finish it off I used my Sakura glitter pen on the flower petals and around the embossing on the scalloped circle. Also, there is gold Stickles in the centers of the background flowers. The white base card is the wonderful Paper Trey White cardstock. It's heavier than most cardstocks and makes a nice, sturdy card. Til tomorrow )maybe).....
