Howdy, all! I have working with Gina K's metallic embossing technique this week and really like the way it looks! I started this card with a base card of SU Certainly Celery. I used my SU Sizzix Floral embossing folder to emboss the foil, then I mounted it onto a piece of SU Elegant Eggplant. The border is cut with my MS Floral border punch. The ribbon is a piece of silver feather-edged ribbon with a piece of SU Certainly Celery grosgrain ribbon glued to it. I found the saying in my collection of sayings from Verve stamps and stamped it with Certainly Celery ink on a scalloped oval nestabilitie, then foam-mounted it onto a larger oval of Elegant eggplant. The small flower mounted on the side of the saying is punched with a clip punch. Finally, I took some silver Stickles to the flower center and a bit in the border. Oh, after I embossed the foil and mounted it, I used Gunmetal metallic rub on paste to highlight the embossing. To view this technique, go to stamptv.com and watch Gina's great video! Til tomorrow....

Oh,no---not more stuff to buy. You have made this so beautifully, that I might have to look into that metal.
