Embossing without cutting with a Nestabilitie

Hi all!! I found this really neat technique a few days on stamptv.com! Pretty cool, if ya ask me! I love finding different ways to use all my wonderful "nesties"!
I started with a base card of Pretty Pink SU cardstock. Then I stamped the background with versamark and a small flower stamp from one of my Paper Trey stamps. I did mine a bit different from Gina K, I did the embossing on the front of the card, then mounted the stamped image inside the embossing. The sayings are from the Voila SU stamp set. The ribbon is made by Spring Narrows and I found it at our local craft store some time ago. I used Pretty Pink, Lavender Lace and Barely Banana markers to color in the images. Finally, I took Crystal effects and added that to the cake icing and the hearts.I wanted something really fun and feminine-looking. I believe I acheived that effect. Well, am off to finish preparations for tomorrow's card class! Til Monday....

This is adorable! I love that you did your own take of the tutorial. This came out fabulous with all the layers and your color combo is perfect. :D I'll definitely have to try either version!! Have a wonderful Friday~
