Whew, so glad today is almost over! Didn't get much done for me.....had to go back to Lowe's again and get the correct deck drive belt for our lawn tractor. Got it home, put it on and it still wouldn't work right! Check all the fittings, clamps, etc and finally said "the heck with this!" Just as I was going in the house, a friend stopped by with some books and a shirt she wanted embroidered. I took it downstairs to the sewing room and as I was going down the stairs, I got a wiff of what I thought was a dead animal. As soon as I entered the room, lo and behold there was water all over the one corner of the carpeted room under my machines. What the heck?!? So, I ran around the corner, thru the craft room and pulled open the door to the storage room. ARRRRCCCCKKKK!!! There was water coming out of the top of the water heater and running all over that part of the floor. With dear hubby in Alaska, I stood there and thought "what the heck can I do to route that water to the center of the room where the drain is. AH HA!!! In one drawer of the craft room I keep a roll of heavy duty foil that we use for a certain technique, so I ran and got it. Made 2 long L shaped pieces and ran them along the bottom of the wall and prayer, "Dear Lord, let this water run along this foil down the drain!" I closed my eyes, standing in 2 inches of water and just waited. About a minute later, I looked down and what do ya know?!? Water is running along the foil and down the drain hole! Can't believe I had that idea come to mind, since I had just been totally into fixing the Troybilt. Whew.....one problem solved. Luckily, when I called Sears, they could have a service man out tomorrow morning early. AND the heater is still under warranty! WOO HOO!!!!!! I am so glad that friend came when she did. Had it been even an hour later, the craftroom and other storage area would have had water in it also. Praise the Lord for His timing......
Now, about this card. I used the Flourishes Christmas stamp set for the tree. The Peace Love Joy is an unmounted stamp from Stubby Stampers. The tree is stamped in SU Bermuda Bay and is covered with Hot Fix gems. The base card is one of the Core dinations Coutture collection that I get at our local craft store. The pinkish color you see is SU Melon Mambo. I am excited about all the new SU sets that are coming out in the Holiday Mini catalog. So, I am off to finalize my first order for August, just had 2 emails with orders attached. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a bit more less eventful. Til then......
