Howdy, all! What a great day to be alive! It's been warm and it looks like nasty storms are heading our way again.

My day has consisted of some errands, bill paying and all those mundane things that need to be done. BUT I had time this afternoon to just "play" in the craftroom. DH finally got all the correct parts to fix my computer in the sewing room, luckily I didn't lose any important files. I just need to load in all my embroidery software and I will be set!

This card was done on a base card of Lavender CoreDinations textured cardstock, as was the Diamond spirelli in the center. I made a rose bud with the white cardstock and inked the edges with my 18k gold leaf pen. I used the Martha Stewart Double Arch punches for the beautiful border. The white background piece is embossed using the Sizzix folder "Final Press". Haven't used that folder in a while and it IS one of my favs! The saying "You are on my mind" is from a Verve verses set. They are all small enough to fit into the SU oval punches. The gold ink is hard to see in the pic but it really shows well in person! Hopefully, I will be back tomorrow. Am getting together with a group of gals in the AM to "putz" around with stamping, etc. One of the gals is into paper quilling and does beautiful work! Maybe I will try that one of these days! Til later....

Gorgeous card! I love the arched border and the spirelli in the middle is beautiful. I love the rose. This is one of those cards that photos don't do it justice. This is a must see in person card.
