Well, this is the FIRST day for me to post something "lengthy!" Have finally gotten the hang of blogging and will probably learn more as time goes on! Being a wife and mother to 3 "basically" grown children has made me realize......"What the heck have I done??!!" LOLOL!!! Actually, I have been married to the same man for 34 years and have managed to raise 1 girl and 2 boys. My daughter is married and provided us with our first grand daughter, Alexia, who is the "light of my life!!" She turned 5 in September and loves Grandma's craft room! The child is very proficient at working my Cuttlebug and THINKS she can operate the Cricut Expressions! Grandma has definitely put her foot down in that matter.
We have a beautiful golden retriever named Hunter, who is my constant companion. He loves spending time in my craft room or sewing room when I am working. The rest of the "pet" portion of the family includes 4 cats: my white-haired Patches, who has the most beautiful clear blue eyes; a tabby Friskie, who basically adopted us 16 years ago; and 2 Seale Point Siamese males named Charlie and Noah, who are almost 2 years old.
When I am not in my sewing room working my business "Graceful Stitches", you can find me in my craft room stamping and cardmaking. I am a Stampin Up demonstrator and teach classes in my "new and improved" craft room. I love checking blogs each day for new ideas and I am quite a "chatter" on my favorite forum, CWF! What a wonderful group of women we have there! We laugh, we cry, we share ideas and sometimes we even "PARTAE"....what a life!!
Today's card was made for a very special Aunt, who's birthday is coming up soon! She loves birds, as I do, so the embossed blue bird is quite appropriate for her. I loved the colors and layout of this so much that I made the design into my header above!
Well, that's all for today, unless I feel the need to come back later and chat with ya'all some more! And,no....I am NOT a native West Virginian, I am originally from Pennsylvania and was transported here 30 years ago next month. Needless to say, I have picked up a few of the sayings and expressions here.
Have a wonderful day!
Debbie
