Hi all! It's Wednesday, the middle of the week and I have been out running most of the morning, into the afternoon! Errands to run, bills to pay......BUT I did manage to do shopping just for me! I hit 2 Joann's stores today, used a few coupons on things I really needed. Then on to our local craft store.....MAN, did I make out! They had marked all the Fiskars and Heidi Grace clear acrylic stamps down to 1/2 price! A very good friend, who works there, had told me they had marked the stamps down! It really pays to know people in "high" places.....LOLOL!!! Ended up with 6 different sets in my cart! Now, that's a bargain in my book!

My card for today is a Valentine's Day card for my grand daughter, Alexia. She is totally a pink and purple girl and LOVES hearts and "glitz"! I used SU Lavendar Lace cardstock as the base card. Then I pulled a piece of Doodlebug "Sugar" paper (Cupcake) and fastened it into the corners cut with my Heart Corner Adorner. The white cardstock background is California Paper Goods Spring Constellation, which is one of my favorite papers to use. I used my nesties to cut both ovals. The stem is stamped with the branch from the new Paper Trey stamp set, "Out on a Limb". Gotta love Nicole's stamps!! The branch is stamped with SU Wild Wasabi ink and the pink metal hearts are from the $1 rack at Joann's. I finished the card with lavendar organdy ribbon tied in a bow and took my Lavendar Stickles to "dot" the edges of the oval and along the branch. I just think Alexia will love this...

I just received my set of Sakura Gloss 3D pens. The colors are gorgeous and I can't wait to try them out. So, look for my card tomorrow! Guess what I will be using on it....you got it, the new pens!! Until then....
