Hello and Happy Thursday! What a nice day it's been! The snow has melted and the sun has been out ALL day! WOO HOO!! A friend came over and spent most of the afternoon "playing" in the craft room with me We really got a bit accomplished! I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, too many things kept getting in the way.
The card for today is done with SU Creamy Caramel as the base card. I took one of my beautiful fabric squares by Anna Griffin and "quilted" it to the card. The border was cut with the Fiskars Lace border punch and the ribbon came from a local craft store. You can barely see the metallic from my StarDust gel pen by Sakura, but it's there. I touched up most of the flowers and the edges of the leaves with the StarDust and I also covered the center of the tag with it. I haven't sewn on a card in ages and my baby sewing machine was screaming for some use. My guess is that I need to do this more often. I have seen some wonderful cards on blogs that have been sewn on.
Well, am waiting for dinner to finish, at least I had the forethought to put it in the crock pot early this morning. Boy, does the house smell good!!! Yummo....as Rachel Ray would say! Happy Valentine's Day ya all and I will be back tomorrow! Don't forget, tonight at midnight, Nicole over at Paper Trey stamps will be releasing her NEW stamp set, paper and matching ribbon! I will be there, hope you are, too!
