Hi ya all.....been a weird kinda day today! Had to sit and work on our taxes since we are expecting a refund this year! Just didn't come out as much as we thought, but, hey.....anything is better than nothing! HA!

I did have time to use my other 2 new CB embossing folders. They are SO nice and I love the new designs! The paisley card is done with the, get this, Paisley folder.....LOL!! Appropriately named. The base card is Night of Navy (SU) and the embossed piece is SU Brocade Blue. I found paper from a small stack that really matched the blue. The ribbon came from the clearance bin at a local craft store and I put a dot of Gold Stickles right in the center of the bow. The second card is done with the Birds and Swirls folder. The base card is Perfect Plum and the paper came from the same stack as the blue on the other card. After I embossed the white piece, I took my SU pastels and lightly colored all the embossed design. Then I sprayed that piece with hairspray so the color wouldn't smudge. I made the tag with the stamp set "Circle of Friendship" (SU) and I used my circle punches to punch out all the pieces. The ribbon came from Michael's.

I actually got all my SU stamp sets mounted today! The Sale A Bration sets are die cut, which was GREAT!! NO CUTTING OF RUBBAH!!! Now it's time to sit and relax this evening....see ya all tomorrow!
