It's been a long, busy day, but a lot of fun! We had our Card class today and like always, it went very well! Everyone did such a great job on all the projects.
The card today is the birthday card I will send to my sister in law this week. She loves purple and she is very special to me. She introduced me to my hubby 34 years ago! I tried something different. I had been cleaning out some of my "other" craft supplies, looking for one of my old tole painting books and found my Donna Dewberry enamel paint stencils. I always liked the design, so I thought it would look pretty darn nice on the front of a card. Voila!! I really like this look! The card is Lavendar Lilac by SU and the yellow cardstock is Bazzill. I ran both pieces thru my rotary cutter with the scalloped blade inserted. Added some pretty white ribbon and the card was done! Pretty simple, huh?! I am sure she will like this!
Well, I am taking a break til Monday! Hoping to make a trip to AC Moore tomorrow if the weather holds out! They are having QUITE a sale.....and I can't pass up a great sale, now, can I??!!! LOL!! Til Monday.....
