Happy Saturday, everyone! I had a nice quiet morning spent working on cards. Haven't had that much time in a while to just "play". Haven't had anything new to post in here since Wednesday. Yesterday hubby and I took a trip to Charleston, WV to check out Sleep Number beds. Since we were in the area of my closest Michael's, I just HAD to go there and use 2 40% coupons on the 2 Martha Stewart border punches that I have been wanting.

Today's card is done on a base card in turquoise, don't know what brand of cardstock it is, I know it isn't SU. Oh well.....I cut the edge with the new Embossed Zig Zag border punch, then backed it with Bazzill brown textured cardstock. Since I haven't used my Sizzix in a while, I decided to cut a zig zag frame from the same brown. The light brown cardstock is also Bazzill and I stamped the floral image from the SU set "Close as a Memory" with Cats Eye Blue Lagoon chalk ink. The ribbon is from my local craft store. Wasn't sure about the color combo at first, but I think I like it. Tomorrow I will post a picture of the card I did with the other new border punch.Til tomorrow.....
